Privacy policy

Effective 26 August 2026. Rovigatti is the trading name of Cardoso Global LLC, a Wyoming limited liability company. This policy explains what we collect, why, who sees it and what you can tell us to do about it. It is written to be read, not to be survived.

The short version

  • We collect what we need to take your order, deliver it and answer your email. Nothing else.
  • We never sell your personal information for money.
  • We do share limited data with advertising platforms so our ads reach people who might want them. Under California law that counts as sharing, and you can switch it off in one email.
  • We apply the strongest privacy rights we are subject to to every customer in every state, not only to Californians. It is simpler and it is fairer.

What we collect

  • Order information — your name, delivery address, email address, phone number if you give one, and what you bought.
  • Payment information — your card details go directly to our payment processor. We never see them and we never store them. We see only the last four digits and whether the payment succeeded.
  • What you write to us — your emails and our replies.
  • Device and usage data — IP address, browser and device type, pages viewed, and the site that sent you here, collected through cookies and similar technologies.

Why we collect it

  • To take payment, dispatch your order and tell you where it is.
  • To answer you when you write.
  • To honour refunds and replacements.
  • To keep the tax and accounting records the United States requires of us.
  • To measure whether our advertising works, and to show it to relevant audiences.

Who else sees it

  • Shopify Inc. — the platform this store runs on.
  • Payment processors — to take and refund payments.
  • Our fulfilment partner — receives your name, delivery address and phone number so your order can be packed and the courier can reach you. Nothing else. Our products are manufactured and shipped within the United States.
  • Couriers — to deliver the parcel.
  • Our email provider — to send order updates and, if you asked for it, marketing.
  • Advertising and analytics platforms — Meta and Google, in the form described below.
  • Authorities — only where the law actually requires it.

Nobody on this list is allowed to use your information for their own purposes beyond providing their service to us.

Advertising, and how to switch it off

We run advertising on Facebook and Instagram. To do that we use a measurement pixel on this site, and we may share hashed identifiers such as your email address with those platforms so they can tell whether an ad worked and can avoid showing you an ad for something you already bought.

Under the California Consumer Privacy Act this counts as sharing for cross-context behavioural advertising. You can stop it in either of two ways, and we apply your choice no matter which state you live in:

  • Use the Your Privacy Choices link in the footer of this site.
  • Or email contactcardosoglobal@gmail.com with the words opt out. No form, no account required.

We also honour the Global Privacy Control signal if your browser sends one.

Your rights

Whatever state you live in, you may ask us to:

  • Tell you what personal information we hold about you and where it came from.
  • Give you a copy of it.
  • Correct anything that is wrong.
  • Delete it, except the parts we are legally required to keep, such as tax records.
  • Stop the advertising sharing described above.
  • Unsubscribe from marketing email, instantly, from any email we send.

To use any of these, email contactcardosoglobal@gmail.com. We verify it is you by asking you to write from the address you ordered with, or to confirm an order number — we will never ask you to send identity documents. We answer within forty-five days and usually within two. Exercising any of these rights will never affect the price you pay or the service you get.

How long we keep things

  • Order and tax records: seven years, because United States tax law requires it.
  • Support emails: two years.
  • Marketing list: until you unsubscribe, then we keep only the fact that you unsubscribed so we do not email you again by mistake.
  • Advertising identifiers: according to each platform's retention period, which we do not control.

Security

This site runs over encrypted connections. We do not store card numbers anywhere. Access to customer data is limited to the people who need it to run the business.

No system is perfect, and any company that tells you otherwise is selling something. If a breach ever affects your information, we will email you directly and tell you what happened, what was exposed and what we did — not a vague notice weeks later.

Age

Our products contain caffeine and are intended for adults. This store is not directed at anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect information from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has given us information, write to us and we will delete it.

Cookies

We use cookies that are essential (your cart, your session), analytical (how many people reached a page) and advertising (the measurement described above). You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Blocking the essential ones will break the cart; blocking the others will not affect anything you can see.

Changes

When this policy changes, the effective date at the top changes with it. If a change materially affects your rights, we email everyone on our list rather than quietly updating the page.
